If I had a dog, I would name him Peeve

Dear miffed, galled, peeved, vexed, irked, piqued, nettled, and otherwise roiled friends,

Do you have any particular pet peeves?  I don't have many, but I do have a few and I listed them below.  Do you sympathize with them?  And what are your peeves?  Post them below - I love hearing them.  It's funny to hear what annoys other people - sometimes I agree completely, and other times I don't get it at all.  And I always, always take notes so I can harrass them later.

It annoys me when my sunglasses slide down my nose.

It vexes me when people discuss safety ("I won't ever go sky diving!) or something, and say, "I don't want to be a statistic."  What about being part of the 98% of people that survived sky diving?  Don't you want to be part of that statistic?

It galls me when poeple write "discusting" instead of "disgusting", and "nexdoor neighbor" instead of "next-door neighbor", and when they write or say "supposebly" instead of "supposedly", or "altimers/oldtimers" instead of "Alzheimers".

It nettles me when I have 45 notifications on Facebook, and when I click on them to read them somebody "likes" my most recent status and all my notifications disappear from the instant box.

It roil's me when people put apostrophe's after every s in every word.

sympathetically you'res during peeve's and annoyance's,

(Just kidding about the taking notes part.  Not about the harassing part, though.)
